Евгений КоноваловасEvgenijus was born as Evgeny
Konovalov in Omsk, Russia in
1947.
Since 1949 he has lived in
Vilnius, Lithuania.
From 1963 to 1966 he attended
the Vilnius School of Fine Arts.
During the years 1969 - 1972,
he studied philology at Vilnius
State University, where it be-
came clear to him that he was
born to become an artist, After
seven years working for the
National Museum, he estab-
lished himself as an indepen-
dent artist.
He became a master of the
difficult glazing technique, often
